We reserved a stop here with 8 people, that worked out well. Nice ladies in the hospitality and despite initial .. we can not in the kitchen (fries only with sauce) everything was great. Fresh mushrooms in the hunter's sauce and delicious crispy fried potatoes with venison sausage. Simple but good home cooking. Toilets are also clean, what more does a wandering heart need .... a cold beer, but there was also 😄

Very nice rustic restaurant with long opening hours on weekends. It invites hikers and bikers to take a break, with a beautiful beer garden and inner courtyard. Love to come here. Small menu but delicious food 😋 and the homemade cake is highly recommended. I can only recommend it.

The schnitzel was good otherwise too much went wrong. However, it was apologized for this and the staff was nice.

Definitely a great excursion station when hiking or cycling. Cuisine: simple German home cooking - in the best sense. Whether with a dog or dirty from the bike tour, everyone is welcome.

A very rustic and old-established tavern that (fortunately) only slowly opens up to the modern. The furnishings of the 60s and 70s make up the charm, for down-to-earth German cuisine is good and fits the ambience. Goose, game and slaughter plate meals should be reserved well in advance. Great place to stop after a hike from Thursday to Sunday (only open there).

An ideal starting point for walks is this place, less the restaurant, but you can park well. Very idyllic just this clearing, unfortunately, more and more visible which consequential damages have the lack of rainfall for forest and nature. That's bitter and scary. For the forest that belongs to Ober-Mörlen, he has sensational views of the Taunus landscapes.

Simple little tavern in the middle of the forest (but also by car to reach). Very clean, nice service and good value for money. After a nice hike in the forest, we have come to the conclusion here. With great sunshine we were able to enjoy coffee and cake on the terrace. Very cozy. We like to come back.
